Gummed paper tape is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and doesn’t need to be removed from boxes before recycling. When applied to corrugate it forms a strong bond, negating the need to H tape. This means you use less tape whilst deterring pilferage and preventing contamination of contents due to inadequate sealing, which reduces the risk of damage to fragile contents and loss of goods in transit.
When used with a digital tape dispenser, it can increase your tape yield as strips are cut to a pre-programmed length. This not only minimises waste but can also speed up your packing operation.
Gummed paper tape is a perfect environmentally-friendly alternative to standard packing tape. Contact us for more information.
The award winning design, replacing heavy timber crates, is made with high density polyethylene fibre for durability and contains an Airsac inflatable liner to protect the goods from damage in transit. It has zip, Velcro and clip closures to increase ease of use, and built-in Castor wheels and a pull strap also allow for simple and safe manoeuvring of heavy product.
When not in use, the Airsac liners can be removed from the transit packs, so that they can be folded flat for storage.
This new innovative packaging solution has helped Peak Scientific reduce the weight of each of their units by over 44kg and delivered substantial savings of over £15,000 per annum on shipping alone. In addition, it also reduced their costs of replacing damaged goods and expensive wooden crates.
