Macfarlane launches “Simplicit.e” – its new e-trading platform designed to simplify ordering
Macfarlane Packaging, the UK’s largest protective packaging supplier, has launched Simplicit.e, an e-trading platform designed to make every aspect of packaging procurement easier for its customers.
With Simplicit.e, Macfarlane customers can electronically manage their entire packaging procurement process from ordering to invoicing.
- Simplicit.e can be accessed from PC, laptop, tablet or mobile phone and integrates seamlessly with their customers’ own systems.
- Orders can also be sent via email or file transfers (e.g. Dropbox) – all to provide customers with more choice and make the ordering process as fast and convenient for them as possible.
- Once orders are processed, customers can receive notifications to allow them to keep track of their orders until the goods are delivered. They can also ask for their invoices to be sent directly to their finance department. Invoices will automatically appear on their account and can trigger an automated payment if the customer signs up for the self-invoicing and payment suite.
- Simplicit.e helps automate and simplify ordering processes, improving efficiency, limiting paperwork and ensuring all information is in one place whenever a customer needs it.
