Woodwool can be used as loosefill or made into cushioned pads for protecting goods in transit e.g. heavy engineering items, stone products or more delicate ceramic, pottery or china products.

Woodwool can also be used as a foodstuff for fruit and vegetables or decoratively in hampers or boxes of toiletries.

Woodwool is the traditional stuffing for soft toys and often used for Taxidermy.
