Vari-depth or multi depth boxes are lightly pre-scored at certain heights enabling users to trim down the corners of the box and fold down the sides to adjust the depth of the box, making it a box with an adjustable height.
The trimmed sides are used to provide a secure overlapping flaps over the top of the cardboard boxes. Variable depth cardboard boxes are great for saving on cushioning and voidfill materials.
