For the best of both polypropylene and vinyl tape characteristics, choose low noise (polypropylene) packing tapes that combine the strength of polypropylene tapes with the speed and noiseless (off the roll) aspects of vinyl packing tapes. Low noise packing tapes are supplied with either environmentally friendly water-based acrylic adhesives, or solvent-based adhesives (for long term sealing use).
