Standard packaging tapes are made using 25 and 30 micron polypropylene tape, with either solvent based adhesives (ideal for long term sealing use) or hot melt adhesives (recognised for their versatile application, superior tensile strength and adhesion properties).

These standard tapes are harder to tear and typically require a dispenser or knife or scissors to cut.
