- Light duty polythene bags are approximately 100 gauge (25 microns).
- Medium duty polythene bags are approximately 200 gauge (50 microns).
- Heavy duty polythene bags are approximately 400 gauge (100 microns).

All polythene food bags are recyclable with other polythene materials.
